Privacy contact
For privacy questions, access requests or complaints, email info@nostudio.com.au.
What we collect and why
When you submit the contact form, we collect your name, email address, selected service and the project details you provide. If you email us, we also receive your message, contact details and any attachments you choose to send.
We use this information to respond, understand your request, discuss possible work and keep a record of the conversation. If an enquiry becomes a project, additional information and handling arrangements may be needed for that work.
You can browse without completing the form and use a preferred name when making an enquiry. We need a working email address to reply. Please avoid sending passwords, payment card details, identity documents or sensitive personal information through the form.
Our hosting and form providers may also process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details, request times and requested pages to deliver their services and help prevent misuse.
Service providers and overseas processing
We use hosted services to run the website and handle correspondence:
- Deno for website hosting and temporary form security records.
- Resend to deliver enquiry notifications and confirmation emails.
- GoDaddy for domain registration and the business email subscription.
- Microsoft Outlook for email correspondence through that subscription.
Information may be processed outside Australia. Resend’s privacy policy describes transfers to and processing in the United States. Deno, Microsoft and GoDaddy use international infrastructure and service providers; processing locations depend on the services and settings used.
The location of a domain registration does not determine where messages or website data are stored. Contact us if you need information about the arrangements relevant to your enquiry.
We may also disclose information where required by law or where reasonably necessary to obtain professional advice or deal with a legal claim.
Cookies and analytics
We do not currently use analytics or advertising tracking scripts on this website. Its own page scripts do not set cookies or store information in your browser.
Our form uses server-side checks to limit spam and duplicate submissions. When you follow an external link, that provider may use cookies or similar technologies under its own policy.
If analytics or other tracking tools are added, we will update this policy and provide any notices or choices required for those tools.
Storage, security and retention
The form sends your enquiry to our server over HTTPS. Resend delivers a notification to our business mailbox and a confirmation to the email address supplied. Temporary security records in Deno KV contain keyed hashes, counters and submission status, rather than your name or message; these expire within 48 hours. Access to enquiry records must be limited to people who need it to handle the enquiry or related work.
Our retention policy is to remove unsuccessful project enquiries from active email records six months after the last contact, including any legacy Formspree records. Resend delivery records follow its service retention settings. Records may be kept longer where needed for a legal obligation or a dispute. Project and accounting records may have different legal retention requirements.
Provider backups, recovery systems and technical logs may have separate retention periods. A deletion from active records does not necessarily remove every backup immediately.
Access, correction and deletion
Email info@nostudio.com.au to ask about information we hold about you, request a copy, correct information or request deletion. We may need to confirm your identity before responding. If we cannot act on a request, we will explain why, including any requirement to retain particular records.
Privacy complaints
Send your concern to info@nostudio.com.au with the subject “Privacy complaint”. Include what happened and how you would like the issue resolved. We aim to respond within 30 days and will let you know if more time is needed.
If your concern is unresolved, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner to ask whether it can assist. Its ability to investigate depends on the law and whether the business is covered by the Privacy Act.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our services or information-handling arrangements change. The date above identifies the latest version.
